County Wexford is located in the South East Region of Ireland and borders Waterford, Kilkenny, Carlow and Wicklow.

Wexford also has some fine examples of Cistercian abbeys in Tintern Abbey at Saltmills in New Ross founded around 1200 and Dunbrody Abbey and Visitor Centre founded in 1210.

Walking routes include the Blackstairs Walks, Carrickbyrne Hill and the Shelmalier Forth Mountain.
